Michigan!

Here it goes, in no particular order...

SideWays:

He won last week... good job!!

Well , well, well..not exactly a sweep at Dover but close enough! We here at the shop don't see anything but blue ovals at Brooklyn. For a bunch of "Bow-tie" boys it's hard to admit. Like we said before they have 'em covered ...till things change...and they will!

Lets go with Rusty, Matt, Jeff Burton. We would put Ryan Newman in the mix but the boys here are bettin' he gets" punted " before half-way!

Arnie:

Ricky Rudd will finally win this year,

Mark Martin will be 2nd

and Bill Elliott 3rd.

This is the way I see Michigan...

Don:

Michigan prognistications:

1. Jeff Gordon

2. Jimmie Johnson

3. Tony Stewart

4. Ricky Rudd

5. Mark Martin

Heather:

So far, so good. Riding the Jeff Gordon train has worked out well (thus far), so I'm picking Jeff Gordon again this week. I'll stick with him at least until he wins a race! Maybe Michigan will be his first of the 2002 season.

Alison:

This week I am going with Jimmie Johnson for the win.

Sterling Marlin 2nd

and of course, Mikey in 3rd.

Bethann:

Lets see....I will pick Dale Jarrett to make it two wins in a row with a win at Michigan. Now just you watch, the week I don't pick Jr. he willl win the thing. That's just the way it goes I guess. Look for Gordon, Marlin, and Waltrip to also be strong contenders. Be safe, and enjoy the racing!

Danny Z:

Darn, just when I thought Ricky Rudd would lift me out of this drought, he comes up with a bad Good Year and leaves me scratchin' my noggin again.

Michigan is not my favorite track, being what I call a cookie cutter one and a half D, but while some races there have been coma inducing, many have been edge of the chair nailbiters, and that's why I'll be front and center [ of the Curtis Mathis] come Sunday.

Michigan can be brutally hot later in the summer for the second race, but it should be comfortable this weekend for both the fans and the drivers, and this makes me think veterans again. Since they always seem to turn this into a fuel milage race, the drivers might not be as important as the crew chief. I'd like to box this weeks trifecta but that costs more so here goes my two dollars worth.

1 Ricky Rudd has it all together, and a little luck on his side, along with enough gas, should give him the checkers. But you can never count out a Michigan loving

2 Bobby La Bonte, who seems to come in here and win even when he can't do anything at other tracks. But both thes guys will have to contend with

3 Johnny Benson, back in the saddle and back home in Michigan, this would be the perfect time for Johnny B to finally find victory lane.

Good luck to everyone, and if you haven't sent in your picks, do it!! It's fun, free and you're probably gonna beat me anyways.

Happy Racin,
Danny Z

Rob:

Lets go easy this week.

Bill Elliott to win

Gordon 2nd

Marlin 3rd

Lisa:

Missed the deadline, so she gets last week's pick of Dale Jr, again.

Charlotte:

Dale Jr. , Who else?

Kevin:

Missed the deadline, so it's Kyle PEtty again.

LAST WEEK"S WINNER- Myrtle Zeeff !!:

Jeff Gordon

Tony Stewart

Mark Martin

I am sure one of these three will be the winner, but am going with Jeff Gordon because odds are he is due for a win.

We were able to see last weeks race and will be able to see this weeks too because it will be shown on FOX.

Seeing Mark Martin running so good once again reminds me of the 'Good Old Days'. I am still a die hard Tony Stewart fan and with the change on the Pontiac I probably should stick with him, but this one is going to be Jeff Gordon's because his luck has started to show again at the track.

Myrtle Zeeff -this past weeks winner and not a Jeff Gordon fan.
